From the High School Doors: Enter the main high school doors, take a right passed the TAC front desk, head straight down the hall and take your first right after the cafeteria and the gym is halfway down the hall on your left hand side. Any students that are not participating in gymnastics classes are to be supervised at ALL times. This means no loitering in the halls, Tiger Activity Center, or playing on any gymnastics equipment. What should my child wear? No specific attire is required. Clothing should be comfortable and stretchy with no zippers or buckles. Students are barefoot in the gym. Long hair should be pulled back and no jewelry should be worn during class. Absolutely NO GUM. Absolutely NO SHOES on the Gymnastics room floor or runway. What if my child has to miss a class? Community Ed. sets up the schedules far in advance and does not offer make up classes, unless class is cancelled due to weather. How does my child move up through the programs? All of the skill levels have a specific curriculum. Once a child masters the curriculum at their level, they are recommended to move up to the next level. Certificates will be handed out after each session with a suggested level to register for future. Does Delano have a competitive team? Yes.
