Delano Public Schools Preschool
Delano Public Schools Preschool offers classes for children from 3 years old through the start of kindergarten. Our learning themes are planned around The Creative Curriculum. Assessments are embedded using Teaching Strategies Gold. Both of these align to Minnesota and Delano standards, preparing your child for Kindergarten. Learn more.

Tiger Activity Center-Recreation and Aquatics Program for All Ages

Tiger Activity Center (TAC)
Located at Delano High School (700 Elm Av), the Tiger Activity Center is Delano’s premier family recreation facility for all ages. Amenities include an indoor track, weight and circuit training rooms, pool, and multi-use courts. You may access the Activity Center through either an annual membership or by purchasing a daily pass. Several insurance fitness reimbursement programs are accepted. Learn more.

Birthday and Private Party Rentals
Are you looking for a fun, reasonably priced location for your child’s birthday party or a private event? Learn more.

Aquatics
Whether you are looking for American Red Cross swimming lessons for your child, adult swim lessons / coaching for yourself, water exercise classes, or just the chance to come to open swim or lap swim, you will find what you want! The pool is also available for private rentals. Learn more.

Recreation
Youth – Sports camps and classes such as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, strength and conditioning, martial arts, golf, and more are offered throughout the year. Our popular gymnastics program includes both classes and a Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association (MAGA) competitive traveling team for more advanced students. Open school facilities for community use
District 879 facilities, both indoor and outdoor, belong to school district residents. The district encourages the responsible use of district facilities by individuals and groups. Delano Community Education has been designated by the school board to manage the use of school facilities under board approved policy. Community Education also schedules use of both district and City of Delano fields.
