ECFE Staff Dawn Hilgers, Early Childhood Programs Coordinator This is my 20th year anniversary of teaching ECFE and the beginning of my 4th year as Delano's Early Childhood Programs Coordinator. I have been a parent (c. 1995), a paraprofessional (c.1998), a teacher (c.2001), and now an administrator (c. 2018) for ECFE. Families and early childhood are my passion. I hope I get to meet your family in ECFE this year. Come join us! Lori Vigesaa, Early Childhood Teacher and Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Hello! I'm thrilled to be joining the Delano ECFE program! I have an Early Childhood Special Education degree and have experience teaching in many different early childhood settings. These have included kindergarten classrooms, a variety of ECFE classes, and also doing home visits. I have always really enjoyed being in the ECFE classrooms both as a teacher and as a parent. I'm really looking forward to teaching in Delano! Maggie Olson, Early Childhood Teacher I'm happy to be a part of the Delano School District. I've been an educator for 45 years and the past 25 years a privately contracted coach, trainer, and educational consultant. My bachelor's degree is pre-k through sixth grade, with a certification in parent education. My master's is in environmental education, and I am a Master Gardener and landscaper. Jenny Alvarado, Early Childhood Teacher I can't wait to see you at an ECFE class! I have been working at Delano ECFE for 6 years now. Previously, I worked as a preschool teacher, and before that I was a supervisor for a before/after school program. As an early childhood teacher, my passion is fostering a love of learning at an early age, and supporting parents through the journey of raising young children. Camille McMillan, Early Childhood Teacher Welcome to ECFE! I'm excited to have you join us. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies, and a minor in Human Relations. I've been teaching for Delano Public Schools since 2019. I love the variety of classes I've had the opportunity to teach! I often help with screening and special events as well. I am looking forward to a great school year together! Darcy Roeser, Parent Facilitator I am a parent educator with a master's degree in occupational therapy. I have a passion for coaching parents in the areas of self-regulation and emotional literacy, self help skills, picky eaters, behavior, and self discovery of each individual parenting journey. My goal is to take one day at a time, stay in the moment, and enjoy the adventure along the way. Meghan Ludwig, Classroom Assistant Teacher Hello, I am a para (teacher's helper) for a variety of classes. I have been working for Delano Community Education in ECFE for 15 years and in the afternoons I am a classroom lead for the afterschool program. I have lived in Delano for 22 years, and in my spare time I love to refinish furniture, read a good book, and coffee house hunt. I am super excited to meet all of you and am looking forward to a fun filled year.
