Is your middle school student bored after school? We invite them to check out Middle Mania! Come hang out with friends after school in a cool environment. Enjoy music, games, food, and homework help in the Middle School FACS room from 3:00 to 5:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
This is not a day care, but merely a place where students will get to wind down from the school day, enjoy a healthy snack, utilize homework help, and join in team building activities until 5:30 p.m.
Students will be able to sign themselves in and out at any time. Students are supervised, but have the option to move independently from one activity to the next as supervisors manage each activity. Parents, Middle Mania is finished at 5:30 p.m., after that time students will no longer be supervised. Middle Mania’s staff includes energetic, positive role models who are great to hang out with!
There is no need to pre-register. The cost is only $5 per day, or you can purchase a ten day punch card for $40. Students can pay the daily fee, or purchase a punch card after school at the MS FACS room. Please make checks payable to Delano Community Education.
Monday & Wednesday Schedule:
3:00 – 3:15 pm Sign In
3:15 – 3:45 pm Cooking/Snack
3:45 – 5:00 pm Indoor activity such as homework help, computer lab time, board games, open gym, art projects, music, or reading. (Open Swimming on Wednesdays)
3:45 – 5:00 pm Outdoor activity such as 4-square, basketball, football, kickball, wiffle ball, or ultimate frisbee.
5:00 – 5:30 pm Club or Team Building Activity
5:30 pm Sign Out
