We are currently taking registrations for the 2010-2011 school year for our Tiger Cub Preschool program and for Tiger Kids Club.

Please come to the Community Education building to pick up registration forms.

Please note: Tiger Kids Club will NOT be accepting 2010-2011 School Year Registrations from August 30th - September 10th.

TIGER KIDS CLUB is Delano School District’s childcare program designed for children aged 3 years, by September 1 through the completion of 4th grade. We provide quality childcare Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. 

Tiger Kids Club offers a safe and supportive learning and playing environment for young children and youth with opportunities to explore art, outdoor activities, and socialization with peers. We also assist children with homework assignments and school projects.

 
Break Days:  Tiger Kids Club is open on most school break days including: Teacher workshop days, conference days, early dismissals and late starts.
 -October 15 & 16 - MEA
 -November 9 - Teacher Workshop
 -November 25 - Teacher Workshop
 -December 28 - 30 - Winter Break
 -December 31 - New year's Eve Day (Closing at 4:00 p.m.)
 -January 25 - Martin Luther King Day-
 -March 29 - April 1 - Spring Break

Students who do not attend Tiger Kids Club on a regular basis, may use Tiger Kids Club on Non-School Days (Break Days) and Bad Weather Days.

Tiger Kids Club is housed in the Community Education Center, located at 140 Elm Ave., Delano. Children are bused to and from the  Elementary School to CEC.

“TIGER CUBS”- A Unique Childcare and Preschool Program
This is a comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten experience designed to provide a foundation for lifelong learning. We address the areas of social, emotional, ethical and academic growth.

Students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2009.

Daily activities support skill development and socialization through the use of games, table activities and puzzles, “circle time”, creative art projects in keeping with the theme of the week, music, indoor and outdoor physical play and free choice time. 

Tiger Cubs  “Wee!  I’m 3” TKC Program
Tiger Cubs - “Wee!, I’m 3” program is specifically designed for fun-loving, energetic three-year olds. This is a unique preschool and child care experience. We address the areas of social, emotional, ethical and academic growth. Students must be 3 years old by September 1. Students must be toilet trained before registering your child.

 Daily activities support skill development and socialization through language activities, problem solving, outdoor physical play, fine motor skills, social skills, art learning centers , rest time, pre science, music, dramatic play, and gym time.

TIGER KIDS CLUB is starting a new Parent Advisory Group. We are interested in involving our parents in programming, managing and advising the current staff.
